He had been selecting officers for the Armed Forces as a GTO (selector) in the Services Selection Board (SSB) Bhopal for more than 7 years. Commander Rathore has been training students for SSB Interview preparation since 2010. His training technique has fashioned the best selection rate. He stopped Offline training and started online classes in 2025. The book written by Commander RS Rathore ensures a good pass percentage at SSB. SSB INTERVIEW COACHING IN BHOPAL

The best training for the SSB interview at Commander Rathore’s classes for all entries of NDA, TES, 10+2 BTech, CDS, AFCAT, INET, UES, TGC, JAG, Education, logistics, Coast Guard and Territorial Army, etc. The SSB interview training for the short service commission in the Armed Forces for all entries is also provided in the Academy. We recommend that the students prepare for their SSB Interview in advance so that they can make corrections for guaranteed success.The Screening Test (Stage One) is as important in SSB as the Psychological Test, Group Test, and Personal Interview. Hence, OIR Test (Verbal and Non-Verbal) is also taught to the students. The coaching for OIR tests and PPDT (Story writing) is given with tips that ensure a hundred per cent selection in the Screening Test.

GTO TRAINING: Commander RS Rathore (Retd.) had been a selector (GTO) in SSB, Bhopal, for 7 years. His training technique has produced the best selection rate. The books written by Commander RS Rathore provide adequate study material to ensure a good pass percentage for the SSB students. The GTO Ground of the RS Defenceselect Academy is equipped with obstacles (similar to those in SSB centres) for the Progressive Group Task (PGT) as well as Individual obstacles. The GTO Ground helps students in practical learning & improvement. Tasks such as the lecturette and group discussion are practised in the SSB classes to improve interactive skills.

TRAINING OF PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTS: The students are taught (utilising digital boards) how to write positive stories in the Screening and TAT tests. The students are told tricks & tips to tackle maximum TAT, WAT and SRT in the given time. The methodology of writing a self-description is taught in the SSB class. Each student gets individual attention from Commander Rathore himself. The individual & group counselling helps align with the correct psychological approach for freshers & repeaters. The practice of psychological tests helps make maximum selections for SSB students. Emphasis is laid on the correct technique of attempting the Psychological tests for assured success in the SSB Interview.

INTERVIEW TRAINING: The candidates are taught about various aspects of personal interview, like dressing, mannerism, ways of answering questions, probable questions and their answers and current events. Each candidate gets to appear in a mock Interview which is recorded, and the video recordings are analysed to obtain the best results in the SSB Interview.

Online SSB Preparation Program

Online classes are held live through video conferencing on Google Meet or Zoom Meet. During the online class, every aspect of SSB preparation is covered by sharing content with Power Point presentations and videos. Commander Rathore (retd.) believes in real-time query solving and encourages students to reach their potential.

(1) Online SSB class in a Group (Course duration – two weeks): The full course of the SSB Interview (all 15 tests of the SSB) is covered in two weeks.The Online SSB class is conducted for two hours per day with a maximum of ten students.The first session of the online SSB class starts with a doubt session every day. In the second session, one of the 15 tests of the SSB is taught. The fee is ₹5000/- for the full course, including one mock interview.

(2) Online SSB class on an as-required basis: The Online SSB class is conducted for one or more students as per their requirement of learning one or more tests.The class can be scheduled (day and time) according to the convenience of the students. If two or more students wish to take a one-hour class, then only one of them has to pay the fee. The fee is ₹1000/- per hour of class.

(3) Online Interview: Candidates who have prepared them selves and wish to appear in an online mock interview can utilise this option. The interview is conducted in formal dress during the appointed hour. Commander Rathore will conduct a 30-minute personal interview with you. The debrief and analysis are shared with the candidate at the end of the interview. The fee for one mock interview is ₹ 500/-.

(4) Online Doubt class (duration - 30 minutes): Some candidates have doubts regarding their performance or how they are writing stories or answering interview questions, etc. Commander Rathore will attend to students' doubts and answer their queries regarding the SSB. The fee for one online doubt class (30 minutes) is ₹500/-.

About Commander RS Rathore (Retd.)

Commander RS Rathore was commissioned in 1988 in the Indian Navy. He had the privilege of serving in the flying branch of the Indian Navy till 2001. Subsequently, he was trained by the Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR) to Select Officers for the Armed Forces and posted at the Services Selection Board, Bhopal.

His tenure as a selector at the Services Selection Board (SSB) spanned seven years. During this time, he was appointed to assess candidates in the Selection Centre in Bhopal, Bangalore, Coimbatore, and Allahabad. During these years, he evaluated the personality of thousands of candidates during the SSB Interview.

He took premature retirement from the Indian Navy in 2010 and established RS Defenceselect Academy in Bhopal. For the last 15 years, he has been training students for the written examination of NDA, CDS,& AFCAT and the SSB Interview. More than a thousand candidates have become officers in the Armed Forces under his guidance. He has also written a book to help students to pass their SSB Interview. The 5th edition of his book ( Best Book on SSB interview ) was published in 2024 and is available on Amazon and Flipkart.
