Answer by Cdr Rathore: Being well dressed influences other people to see you as competent, capable, and smart, as well as helping you feel more confident about yourself. The positive point is that if we change the way we dress, the way we feel will also change. Therefore, we should wear formals for the SSB Interview. A retired officer from Indian Navy Cdr Kulbhushan Jadhav was caught (from Iran in March 2016) on false charges of espionage by Pakistan and their military court sentenced him to death. When we see the picture of Cdr Kulbhushan Jadhav meeting his mother & wife in Pakistan, we observe how well dressed (wearing a smart coat) he is. The point I am making is that even in custody Pakistan had to give suitable outfit to our officer.
