Answer by Commander Rathore: I want to serve my motherland in the best possible way. There can be no better service or work which will give me an opportunity to directly serve the nation. I will be working on platforms & equipment which utilise latest technology (if you have opted for Army, name a few tanks, guns, wireless sets etc. Similarly, if you if you have opted for Air Force, name a few aircrafts their armament & equipment. Similarly, if you have opted for Indian Navy, name a few ships, armament & equipment on ships). Armed Forces offers challenging work in difficult situations which makes every-day work so thrilling. I will be learning & growing to be a better person throughout my life. In addition, it is one of the most respected profession in the world and the pay & perks are the best amongst central government employees. And sir, on a lighter note, “I may be not much to look at but my DP in uniform will win heart of every Indian”.
