If we don't like a Govt. policy, can we criticise the Govt. or its policy?

Answer: The politicians (PM & the cabinet ministers) are only one small part of the Govt. (Legislature, Executive and the Judiciary).

The best brains with humungous experience are sitting in the top posts of the Govt. who advise the cabinet in the Centre/State on health, security & financial decisions etc. (Departmental secretaries including railways & security, the Directorate General of Health Services who renders technical advice on all medical and public health matters to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare etc.). We should respect the intelligentsia of our nation who advise and formulate the action plan. This plan after cabinet approval is executed by the gazetted officers/staff of the Executive (catering for local area variations).

Hence, if we disagree with the Govt. policy/decision in the SSB Interview, we must explain in brief our plan and execution strategy on that issue.

Sometimes it is not even a policy but a statement by someone. Let me take an example: Many SSB aspirants in our country might have been against the blackout (9 PM on 06 Apr 2020) call given by our PM Mr. Modi. Now the question is: - Is it Ok to disagree with this call given by the PM?

Solution: Did this call did more harm than good? What could you have suggested instead?  Please don’t let your dislike for one person or his ideology colour your judgement. Please read My blog dated 06 Apr for a detailed answer. I will end this answer on a lighter note: -

We have seen in social media, people who can't even qualify small competitive exams criticise/comment on decision taken by the Govt.

It is like a street cricket player watching batting of Kohli and commenting,Kohli should leave the balls which are swinging out of the off stump”.
